Lone Rose - This lone Rose is a haunting memorial and testimony to the veteran burried here on the grounds of the Tennessee Veterans' Cemetery. Presenting a brilliant contrast to the stark white headstone, the bright red flower could symbolize the blood shed by our armed forces in service of our country.
The actual meaning of the rose is only known by the person who left it there. If you look at the top of the headstone, you will also notice a light brown rock placed there. The name on the headstone has been obscured to protect the identity of the Veteran. - Click Below to Continue your tour of the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - Slide Show Use your browser back button to return to previous pictures
